Girl Streamers

Back in early 2010s Twitch was slowly taking off as a platform for gamers. That’s what it was supposed to be from the very beginning: a haven for all kinds of gamers who would stream their gaming sessions for everyone who’s interested. At the time Twitch users were predominantly male. But now it’s also a home for top female streamers with millions of viewers. Every day they challenge the stereotype that gaming is a guys-only kind of entertainment.

But even though gaming streams are still very popular on Twitch, it’s not all girl streamers are about. These days they cover all kinds of topics such as art, cosplay, fandoms, and many others. Female Twitch streamers are young, beautiful, active and aren’t afraid to speak their mind. And top female streamers can give their male peers a run for their money.

Speaking of which, what about the materialistic side of the matter? Well, most popular female Twitch streamers are living proof of the fact that having a vivid personality and the ability to grasp the audience’s attention pays. The Twitch top girls you’ll find below are doing it right. Who knows? Maybe their example will inspire you to join them.

This breathtaking success made Imane reconsider her life choices and make a difficult decision. Abandoning her aspiration to become a chemical engineer, she dropped out of Canadian McMaster University and relocated to Los Angeles, California. There she finally could become a full-time streamer.

League of Legends streams were followed by Fortnite gaming sessions and interspersed with some real life streams and podcasts.

Interestingly, although AriGameplays joined Twitch three years ago, her channel blew up more recently. Last year she managed to outrank other popular Twitch streamers and win the silver by becoming the second most popular female broadcaster after Pokimane. This success was not dampened by the fact that Abril’s channel was suspended for two weeks due to “sexually suggestive content”. Now her channel is thriving with a whopping 1.4 million followers.

Keep in mind that the yearly Twitch earnings mentioned here are approximate. Usually, Twitch streamers have several sources of income: subscriber views, ad revenue, donations, to name a few. In most cases, they prefer not to disclose full information on how much they earn on the platform, for understandable reasons.
